To formulate provincial cultural economic policies; to be responsible for directing and supervising the state-owned assets management and finance work for affiliated units; to manage the undertakings funds of provincial cultural units; to direct the infrastructure work for provincial cultural units and manage provincial-level infrastructure work; to be responsible for statistic work of provincial cultural and cultural relics undertakings.
