| To draft the development plan of museums and memorial halls in the province, direct and coordinate the construction of museums and cooperation and exchange among museums; to undertake state owned cultural relics appraisal; to be responsible for borrowing, exchange, allocation of collections from units concerned, examine and verify and apply for major exhibition items; to be responsible for the risk class determination of museums, examining and approving the preservation projects of cultural relics technology, acceptance of engineering projects; to be responsible for the management of scientific and technological projects in terms of cultural relics.
